Before I begin let me first apologise for the lack of activity. Last week was a crazy one. I had hoped to stay on top of my blogging duties, but a bout of illness put an end to that.
I did have a very proactive week in London town though, and I’m finally in a position where I can share some more info.
Without further delay, let me introduce you to The Successful Mistake
The Successful Mistake
I first came up with this idea back in July. As a young entrepreneur myself, I was constantly asking other people for tips and reassurances for what I was doing. I had left my job, my income was minimal, and the fear was high.
People were amazing. They shared their stories, and what I found was that everyone had some negatives tales to tell. They had mistakes aplenty, but these journey’s weren’t all doom and gloom, rather the catalyst to so much more.
An idea formed…it blossomed and wouldn’t go away…I knew I had to write this book!
In a nutshell, this is The Successful Mistake:
- A book full of stories from successful entrepreneurs
- I ask them about their biggest business mistake
- They share their tale
- They offer how they turned it around
- They tell me what they learned from it
The Journey So Far
This journey has already begun. I’ve already interviewed around 20 people, with a further 20 or so planned for the coming weeks. My aim is to connect with at least 250 entrepreneurs, but I hope this figure will grow and grow and grow.
I’m learning so much every single day and the advice on offer is incredible. I cannot wait to share it with you. I’ve always looked at mistakes in a fairly positive light, but my mindset in recent weeks has gone into overdrive.
Mistakes are life’s lessons
They drive us forward
They teach us
They are often the catalyst to so much more
I hope this book will bring a great deal, but the premise is threefold:
- To provide entertaining stories
- To offer tips and guidance to avoid certain mistakes
- To reassure you that mistakes are fine – with the right mindset
The last thing I want to do is create another boring textbook that preaches this-n-that. My desire is to build a free flowing, fast paced book that takes you on a journey shared with people who have been there and done it.
