I started this podcast after numerous others inspired me. Ben Krueger is one of these fine folk, because not only does he rock his own podcasts, but helps transform other people’s into rip-roaring successes, too.

I had to have him part of The Successful Mistake, and I’m so glad I did. We all hope to grow our business and brand, but it’s a tricky beast to master. Ben’s #GreatMistake focusses on such growth, and how it’s important to place processes in place and think about how others will take over your mantle.

IN THIS SESSION, YOU’LL LEARN:

• It’s easy to create a system that works for you, but not everyone will be able to pick it up

• It’s not to say the other way is the wrong way, but if your clients like what you deliver, you may lie to replicate this

• So whether you plan to grow or not, a process and workflow helps you train new people

• AND produce the same results time and time again

• It’s great to create bespoke processes for each client, but this is both hard to manage and scale

• In the early days it’s often good to custom and tailor services for clients, but once you know what works that’s when you can form packages

• It’s difficult to scale with customised options, whereas you can scale and grow packages much easier

• It’s not just about the amount of products or clients you can scale, but the way your staff scales, too.

• If a process works for 10 members, but not 100… issues may occur further down the line

• When a customer comes to you and says they’re moving to a competitor, it’s a red flag that your process doesn’t work

• Get those who know the system best to create the system/process/workflow

• THEN het those who will use it the most to test it, review it, and help improve it

• If you find yourself creating all your processes, it’s a sign you aren’t hiring the right people
