The Successful Mistake has introduced me to some incredible people, and it’s this I love above all the words, stories, and opportunities. But it isn’t just those I’ve interviewed, because I’ve come across some great brands and business too, the types that push me to work smarter and more effective.

Involving sponsors in The Successful Mistake puts me on edge. I have a background in sports sponsorships, so I’m aware how soulless and fake they can be. I don’t wish to advertise or promote a service or company I don’t love or use, so once I decided to involve a few within The Successful Mistake, I insisted I wouldn’t compromise:
- I WILL ONLY INVOLVE BRANDS I USE
- I WILL ONLY PROMOTE BRANDS I SING THE PRAISES OF ALREADY
- I WILL NOT LOOK AT READERS AS CONSUMERS, SO WILL NOT TREAT THEM AS SUCH
This is why The Successful Mistake and Typeform makes sense. I already use Typeform to communicate with my audience, and have encouraged several others to join.
I’ve only approached certain brands for The Successful Mistake Chapter Partnerships, and they’re ones I already love and adore and use. I can’t promise you’ll love them and use them. I cannot promise they’ll help you or your business.
BUT they help me. As such I don’t see these as sponsorships, instead meaningful partnerships that will make The Successful Mistake better – for me, for you, for everyone…

At this moment in time we’ve only scratched the surface. Having plotted and planned with my main man, David (The Typeform head honcho), we have a few tricks up our sleeve for the here-and-now. But this isn’t a one-and-done thing, rather a genuine partnership that will evolve over time.
As we edge closer to the publication of The Successful Mistake, new ideas will flow from us to you. Once the book hits the shelves, we’ll continue to add value and excitement.
