You can also Listen, Download & Watch this Session on:          ITUNES          STITCHER          VIMEO          YOUTUBE

Nicole Welch hosts a rather cool podcast that features folk with style, substance, and grit. Getting to the nitty-gritty, she offers an insight like few others do, so I knew she had to be part of The Successful Mistake.

Sharing tales from her time in Central America, Nicole provides a wonderful overview of culture, how to adapt to it, and how important it is to respect the culture, language, and dynamics that come with this global community we live in. A true tale of inspiration, and one I can’t wait to share with you.

Don’t forget to leave a review. Reviews help us rise the charts, which leads to awesome more folk like yourself listening

IN THIS SESSION, YOU’LL LEARN:

  • The dynamics between your culture and another country’s can be rather different
  • Just because tomorrow means tomorrow to you, doesn’t mean it does to them.
  • In some cultures it’s more relaxed, and tomorrow means sometime next week…
  • Sometimes your biggest failure will be a lack of research into culture, industry, the country…
  • But such failure can also lead to greatness, as you quickly learn a great deal from these mistakes
  • If you don’t respect another person’s values or beliefs, or a different country’s culture, you’ll find it hard to succeed
  • Whereas if you relate to other people and try see it from their perspective, success is often found
  • Do the work first – research and relate and do the background stuff before you start the actual project
  • Before you start, know your why and know your who
  • This gets you through the hard times and keeps you motivated
  • Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone
  • Push yourself and do what makes you feel uncomfortable

HER STORY BASED BIO:

Ah Nicole Welch, a woman with more bubble in champagne than most. A true go-getter with a spring to her step, she’ll wine you and dine you and leave your head spinning.

She podcasts these days, but used to do do-goodery things in developing countries, as well as a mishmash of all sorts in-between. She’s like Florida’s own version of wonder woman, with kids under one arm, a business under the other, and life clinging between her teeth as if it’s about to go out of fashion.

If you don’t leave invigorated and excited after a sweet convo like this one, I sense you may have stopped breathing sometime ago. So wake up. Look out. It isn’t a plan and it isn’t a bird. It’s Nicole, and she’s here to rock it.
